Summer Themed First Birthday

 

 This fun and colorful dessert table was created for one of my good friend's baby girl Baylor who celebrated her FIRST birthday!  Baylor's mama did a great job putting together a fun party filled with all things summer...water, bubbles, summer grilling, sand, sun and fun!!!

 

If you love summer, if you love cute sweets and if you love color, you'll love this table!!

It's been a while since I updated...my poor blog has taken a bit of a backseat to our summer fun and she is NOT happy about it.  But thankfully BLOG and I had a great discussion this morning and she is willing to forgive me and wants to work with me on my lack of communication and posting inferiorities.  ;)  I've promised more frequent posts and she has promised to continue to make things look pretty for my followers.  

 

Enough about my pretend problems...

 

Summer.  Its just awesome isn't it?!  I can't believe the kids are about to start school soon.  Next week in fact.

 

 Uggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggghhhhhhhghghghghghghgh.

(I'm in a deep depression about that.)

 

  BUT, they must go if they are to learn...and the more you learn the more you'll know.  The more you know the more places you'll go!!

Superhero Cake

 

 

Are you in love?  I am!  I don't even have boys, but I LOVE this cake. 

 

This cake was created for a little boy named Stratton.  Like most 3 year old boys, Stratton IS a superhero.  So what kind of cake do you make for a superhero?? 

How about one that includes all his superhero partners...the best of the best...the ones that taught him all he knows about being a superhero. 

Superman.  Batman.  Spiderman.
