This sweet little storybook cake was created for my friend Delaine who is due (in three weeks) with her first baby. Today was her shower to celebrate her and her little boy who will be arriving any day now! Guests were asked to bring a book in lieu of a card to help start a nice collection of books for the family. And the theme for the cake was born!I tried to incorporate some of the most popular children's books out there...
