This cake was made for Alice who turns one today. Her parents are throwing her a Mad Hatter Tea Party to celebrate. They wanted a colorful fun cake for the occasion and what better than an orange, pink, green, yellow, turquoise and red cake! :)
I would have loved to do some sort of caddy wampus/topsy turvy design, but they had over an hour drive to get here so I got too nervous about the commute and decided to go with a more stable design. 
A teapot smash cake for the birthday girl. Covered in buttercream using the petal effect. This was my first time doing the petal technique and I love it! So easy to do, but such a great effect.
